Welcome to Lifecompass Health & Wellness. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of www.lifecompasswellness.com (the "Website") and any coaching, nutrition counseling, education, workshop, webinar, or corporate wellness services (the "Services") provided by Lifecompass Health & Wellness, LLC ("Lifecompass," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Website or booking any Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or Services.

1. About Our Services

Lifecompass provides holistic nutrition counseling, health and wellness coaching, wellness education workshops, personalized education and lifestyle protocols, public webinars, and corporate wellness programs. Services are delivered primarily by telehealth (video or phone) and, where arranged, in person.

Our approach is evidence-informed and educational. We help clients build knowledge, habits, and lifestyle changes that support their overall well-being.

2. Not Medical Advice

Lifecompass Services are educational and supportive in nature. They are not medical care and are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a physician, registered dietitian, mental health professional, or other licensed healthcare provider.

We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
We do not prescribe medication or recommend changing or stopping any medication.
Content on the Website, in newsletters, on social media, and in workshops or webinars is for general information only.
Always consult your healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, supplements, exercise, or lifestyle, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, or take medication.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Our Services are not designed for urgent or emergency needs.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book Services on your own behalf. Services for anyone under 18 require the consent and participation of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Consultations and Booking

Discovery consultation: We may offer a complimentary discovery consultation to discuss your goals and determine whether our Services are a good fit. A discovery consultation does not create an ongoing coaching relationship.
Booking: Sessions may be scheduled by email, phone, or any online booking tool we make available. A session is confirmed once you receive confirmation from us.
Intake forms: You may be asked to complete intake or health-history forms. You agree to provide information that is accurate and complete, and to let us know of any changes to your health status.

5. Fees and Payment

Fees for Services are communicated at the time of booking, in a written proposal, or in a client agreement.
Payment is due at the time of booking or as stated in your invoice or agreement, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Packages and programs must be used within the time period stated at purchase. Unused sessions expire at the end of that period unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Corporate and organizational clients are billed according to the terms in their signed proposal or agreement.
We reserve the right to change our fees at any time. Changes will not affect Services already paid for.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Late Arrivals

Individual sessions: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed sessions without notice, may be charged in full or counted as a used session.
Late arrivals: If you arrive late, the session will end at its scheduled time and the full fee applies.
Our cancellations: If we must cancel or reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a new time or a refund for that session.
Workshops, webinars, and corporate programs: Cancellation terms for group and organizational Services are stated in the event registration details or the signed agreement.

7. Refunds

Payments for completed sessions are non-refundable.
Refunds for unused sessions in a package or program are considered on a case-by-case basis and may be prorated at our discretion.
Free events and complimentary consultations carry no refund obligations.

8. Client Responsibilities and Results

You understand that your results depend on many factors, including your health history, consistency, and personal effort. You agree that you are responsible for your own choices, actions, and results. Lifecompass does not guarantee any specific outcome, including weight change, symptom relief, or improvement in any health marker. Any testimonials or examples shared on the Website reflect individual experiences and are not a promise of similar results.

9. Assumption of Risk

Changes to diet, physical activity, and lifestyle carry some inherent risk. By participating in our Services, you voluntarily accept these risks and agree to consult your healthcare provider as appropriate before acting on any recommendation.

10. Confidentiality and Privacy

We treat the personal and health information you share with care and keep it confidential, except where:

you give written permission to share it (for example, with your healthcare provider);
disclosure is required by law; or
there is a reasonable concern for your safety or the safety of others.

For corporate wellness programs, we do not share individual participants' personal health information with employers. Any reporting to organizations is provided in aggregate, non-identifying form unless the participant consents.

Telehealth sessions are conducted using third-party video or phone platforms. While we take reasonable steps to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any electronic communication. 11. Workshops and Webinars

Registration may be required, and space may be limited.
Sessions may be recorded. If a session is recorded, we will tell participants in advance. You may keep your camera off and use a display name if you prefer not to appear.
We may change the date, time, speaker, or content of an event when needed and will notify registered participants.
Please be respectful to presenters and other participants. We may remove anyone who is disruptive.

12. Email and Communications

By providing your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your Services, appointments, and inquiries. If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will receive wellness education and event announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and in our Services, including text, handouts, meal plans, protocols, presentations, worksheets, recordings, graphics, logos, and the Lifecompass name, is owned by or licensed to Lifecompass Health & Wellness, LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

Materials provided to you are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from them without our prior written permission. Corporate clients may use materials within their organization as stated in their agreement.

14. Use of the Website

You agree not to use the Website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with its operation, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, uploading harmful code, or collecting other users' information. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time.

15. Third-Party Links and Products

The Website or our materials may include links to third-party websites, resources, or products. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. Any mention of a product is not an endorsement unless clearly stated, and you should review any product with your healthcare provider before use.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lifecompass Health & Wellness, LLC, its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or Services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lifecompass Health & Wellness, LLC, its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Website or Services or your violation of these Terms.

19. Ending Services

You may end Services at any time by notifying us in writing, subject to the cancellation and refund terms above. We may decline or end Services if we believe they are no longer appropriate for your needs, if a referral to another provider is more suitable, or if these Terms are violated. Where possible, we will provide referrals or resources.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing any claim, both parties agree to first try to resolve the matter informally by contacting each other in good faith.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Website or Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

22. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
